POTUS Knows Some ASL

I saw this video last week sometime but finally got a chance to share it here. It’s pretty cool, too.

President Obama was speaking at Prince George’s Community College where Stephon, a Deaf student, attended. After the event, the President went through the room shaking hands. When he got close, Stephon signed “I’m proud of you” to which the President responded “Thank You” in ASL.

Stephon later created another video expressing his impression of the meeting. The video is not captioned but I did find a transcript of it from distraction.com
