It’s my deep desire to have you join me on My ASL Journey. I really want to make it as easy as possible for you to keep up and interact with me. Following are some of the ways you can join me currently.
- Publicly comment on any Blog Post
- Publicly participate on the Discuss Page
- Privately message me on the Contact Page
- Subscribe to blog updates via email
- Subscribe to blog updates via RSS
- “Like” the Facebook Page to get updates in your Facebook Page
- “Like” individual posts on the Facebook Page
- Comment on individual posts on the Facebook Page
- Comment on the Facebook Page itself
Other Ideas
- Bookmark or save the site in your browser
- Follow @orangejackasl on Twitter
- View the website on your smart phone (the blog should be optimized for it)
- Have someone print every blog post and snail mail it to you
More Ideas (after we’re introduced online first)
- Meet in person (I want to get to know people and I need to practice my ASL!)
- Text and/or Voice chat online (I’m currently using imo.im)
Any other ideas of how I can make it easier for you to join me in my journey? I really want to encourage you to come along side of me during this time. It’s my desire to eliminate barriers so we can interact.
I’m reminded of a quote I like that says “Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”
