Keeping Up With My ASL Journey

"Join Me" spelled in ASLIt’s my deep desire to have you join me on My ASL Journey. I really want to make it as easy as possible for you to keep up and interact with me.  Following are some of the ways you can join me currently.

On The Blog

On The Facebook Page

  • “Like” the Facebook Page to get updates in your Facebook Page
  • “Like” individual posts on the Facebook Page
  • Comment on individual posts on the Facebook Page
  • Comment on the Facebook Page itself

Other Ideas

  • Bookmark or save the site in your browser
  • Follow @orangejackasl on Twitter
  • View the website on your smart phone (the blog should be optimized for it)
  • Have someone print every blog post and snail mail it to you

More Ideas (after we’re introduced online first)

  • Meet in person (I want to get to know people and I need to practice my ASL!)
  • Text and/or Voice chat online (I’m currently using imo.im)

Any other ideas of how I can make it easier for you to join me in my journey? I really want to encourage you to come along side of me during this time. It’s my desire to eliminate barriers so we can interact.

I’m reminded of a quote I like that says “Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”
